Our bottle-delivered material is designed for daytime use. Wear your mouth tray 2 to 5 times a day for 45-minute intervals, making sure to rinse and refill your tray between each interval. Treatment time is about 20 days with two treatments per day, unless otherwise specified by your dentist.
Instruction for Bottled-Delivered Material
- Brush and floss your teeth.
- Open the bottle and use the flip-top applicator to extrude the Life-Like gel into the tooth indentations of your mouth tray. When filling your mouth tray, string the material along from one tooth space to the next to ensure full coverage. Do not fill the tooth indentations more than one-fourth (1/4) full.
- Place the tray in your mouth.
- Wear the tray for 45-minute intervals, 2 to 5 times a day. Change the gel material in your tray between treatments.
- Wipe gums free of excess material that extrudes out of the tray.
- Remove the tray. Rinse or use a wet toothbrush to brush your teeth. Also, rinse or brush out your tray to remove excess material that may be present after treatment.
- Repeat this procedure for 20 days. Monitor your results until you have achieved the desired whiteness. Refrigerate bottles upside down when not in use.
Suggestions
- Refrain from eating, drinking, or smoking for 30 minutes after wearing the whitening gel. Also, avoid citrus foods and beverages to minimize discomfort from sensitivity.
- If sensitivity should occur, discontinue treatment and wait 24 hours before resuming bleaching. If sensitivity should persist after treatment has ceased, please consult your dentist.
- To maintain whiteness, repeat the treatment procedure for two days every four to six months, or as prescribed by your dentist.
- Store the bottle upside down in your refrigerator.
