Our syringe-delivered material is a gel with a special quick-release formula for daytime use. For 10%, 15%, and 20% concentrations, wear your mouth tray for 2 one-hour treatments during the day. Treatment times using 30% should be 20 to 30 minutes - two treatments per day. Treatment duration is 7 to 12 days, unless otherwise specified by your dentist.
Instructions for Syringe-Delivered Material
- Brush and floss your teeth.
- Twist the top of the Seal-Syringe to align the tip with the black 0-ring. Extrude a small drop of Life-Like gel into each tooth indentation of your mouth tray (for a total of 1/4 cc or less). The calibrations on the side are designed to prevent you from overfilling the mouth tray. Each line on the syringe represents about 1/2 cc. You need just 1/4 cc or less per treatment. If the material is too difficult to get out of the syringe, take a pair of scissors and simply trim back the syringe tip.
- Place the tray in your mouth. Using 1/4 cc leaves no significant excess material. Wipe off with tissue any excess material that's on your gums.
- Wear the tray for 2 treatments per day.
- Rinse or brush out your tray to remove excess material that may be present after treatment.
- Repeat this procedure for 7 to 12 days. Monitor your results until you have achieved the desired whiteness. Optional - refrigerate material when not in use.
Suggestions
- Refrain from eating, drinking, or smoking for 30 minutes after wearing the whitening gel. Also, avoid citrus foods and beverages to minimize discomfort from sensitivity.
- If sensitivity should occur, cease treatment, and wait 24 hours before resuming bleaching treatments. If sensitivity should persist after treatment has ceased, please consult your dentist.
- To maintain whiteness, repeat the treatment procedure for two days every four to six months, or as prescribed by your dentist.
- Store the syringes in your refrigerator. The material expiration date is two years from receipt.
